PRYDE's Oore Ogunyinka Named McNair Scholar

PRYDE is thrilled that Oore Ogunyinka ‘26 has been named a Cornell University Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Scholar. The McNair Scholars Program is a selective opportunity for promising undergraduate thinkers, offering academic research experiences and scholarly activities in preparation for graduate study. McNair Scholars, largely undergraduates who are underrepresented in the academe, demonstrate strong potential for independent scholarship; Oore is no exception.

Oore, who studies Black girlhood and Black girls’ wellbeing with faculty mentor Dr. Misha Inniss-Thompson, joined the PRYDE Scholars Program in the Fall 2024. Congratulations, Oore, on this tremendous accomplishment!
