PRYDE hosts a panel with teen Contribution Project participants

This week, PRYDE moderated a panel of four young people who took part in The Contribution Project at Lincoln High School! These young men spoke about using Contribution Project funds to expand rigorous educational opportunities for students of color in Lincoln, Nebraska.

The panel took place at Nebraska's Expanded Learning Opportunities Innovation Invitational, hosted by Jeff Cole and others from Beyond School Bells. This discussion was moderated by Casey Adrian.

Also at this conference, PRYDE's Chris Davis presented an engaging workshop for educators and afterschool professionals, encouraging them to facilitate opportunities for youth contribution in their own programs. And Tony Burrow participated in a panel on challenges and opportunities for operating afterschool programs in a changing world.

Thanks to Jeff Cole and colleagues for inviting PRYDE to this event, and to the wonderful young men from Lincoln High School - for making this important and meaningful contribution to their community!
